I have been working like a mad-woman to make stock so that there will be something to sell… here’s a preview of what I’ve been up to…

SO i was so excited about my bucket that I decided to make anothe one, with a fleece lining. did you know that fleece is not a very good fabric for making things stiff? you knew? of course you did… i shoulda known as well… so that project was cast aside in favour of this gorgeous box tutorial…

the fabric came from my friend Samantha in Japan. A fat quarter of gorgeous hedgehogs. I so love them! thanks Sam!

or at least an attempt. I used this tutorial on sew mama sew and winged it. That probably explains why it didnt come out exactly as it should have. I dont have ink for my printer, so I traced the circle from the screen and hoped for the best in terms of circumference… What do you think?

bucket...
I think its cute.. I didnt have any iron on fleece, so I used an old fleece blanket and quilted the outside. But, I forgot to do that with the inside piece… I was rushing cuz I wanted results… oof…

I got the fabrics at AC Moore, in a jellyroll… I love them… here’sthe inside. anyone know what I did wrong? I am kinda sure, but not really…

my sewing machine has lost all connection to reality. The tension is not what it says, it’s ruffling everything and I am so unhappy! It needs a doctor NOW!!! NOw all I need is to find one… So, skirt 4 is on hold. Such a bummer…. here’s some pics of other stuff…

and a matching apron…

and they were all put into a bag, going to a very special birthday girl… I really hope it gets there in time…

the bag
The apron is the Montessori apron, which is absolutely brilliant! I love love love that the kids can put them n themselves! and the oven mitt is from this tutorial. so cute and super easy!
