Ain’t that the truth? I am trying so hard not to cry. We are moving the day after tomorrow. It’s finally sinking in. We are moving only an hour away, but it feels like a different world. It is a different world. Even the weather is different (better…)…
There are so many things I am going to miss about Raanana. Its proximity to Ikea
… the parks, the foliage, the mall, the people…
Mostly, I’m going to miss the people. A few in particular. Like, Adi, for example. Adi is our babysitter. She is my angel who saved my from insanity when Ziv was 5 weeks old. She is amazing. Great with Yagel as well as with Ziv. And also so nice to talk to. She is going to be a great mother some day. Here she is doing her “Wilson” impression…
I’m also going to miss Sandy and Yvonne, who kpet my house sparkling for the last year and made me laugh. Who am I going to whinge to in Jlem, who?
And last, but certainly not least, Michal. My sister from another mother. Friends are the family you choose, and I couldn’t have chosen better. Thank goodness her mother-in-law lives in Jlem, so we will definitely be seeing each other, just not quite as often… Oof.
Can’t wait for this move to be done with… 48 hours and counting….
