buckets of fun

or at least an attempt. I used this tutorial on sew mama sew and winged it. That probably explains why it didnt come out exactly as it should have. I dont have ink for my printer, so I traced the circle from the screen and hoped for the best in terms of circumference… What do you think?

I think its cute.. I didnt have any iron on fleece, so I used an old fleece blanket and quilted the outside. But, I forgot to do that with the inside piece… I was rushing cuz I wanted results… oof…

I’m so excited!

I just joined a sew-along! How cool is that? I found Melissa’s blog recently (don’t ask me how, i have lost track) and she is having a lovely lazy days skirt sew-along. I am too excited! I already started cutting fabric for the first skirt… the first 5 of this gorgeous yummy too beautiful fabric… too me a long time to get up the courage to cut into it. It’s so great to just look at…. but that’s what fabric is for, right? to make something… what better thing than a pretty skirt….

My kids have been on vacation from school all week because it is Sukkot. We have been having a lot of fun together. Here are a few pics of our sukkah. I built it myself… ok, the pergola was there (my hubby built that),,,
